Ingredients

2 Tbls  
chili powder
2 Tbls  
brown sugar, packed
1 Tbl  
ground cumin
2 tsps  
garlic, minced
1 tsp  
cider vinegar
1 tsp  
Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp  
ground red pepper
2 lbs  
well-trimmed beef T-Bone or Porterhouse steaks (1" thick)
 
salt

Directions

  1. Combine rub ingredients; press evenly onto beef steaks.
  2. Place steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, uncovered 14-16 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally.
  3. Remove bones and carve steaks into slices, if desired.
  4. Season with salt, as desired.
