Toning Up
I mentioned earlier that I finally started going to a trainer regularly — when I’m in town, that is. I have a couple of objectives for this. First, I want to firm up, tone, and de-wiggle some of the wiggles. IT IS WORKING. I can actually feel increased strength through my jeans. My size hasn’t changed, but I feel that my shape is changing a little bit.
My second objective is to get this whole activity thing to be second nature. I mean I am already doing the activity, but I want exercise simply to be a regular part of my day — a habit - like brushing my teeth. I’m getting there but some days are harder than others.
Why is that? I always feel better after I work out, I look better, it’s good for me…why fight it? I know I’m not alone in this, am I? If not, message board me. I need your tips, too!
