Did you see me on OPRAH??!!
I did it! I reached my (other) goal: to be on Oprah, telling my story!!! Maybe not in a bathing suit, but “naked”, just the same. I could hear the gasps from some of the audience members when I talked about some “unmentionables” in the book. But purging felt GREAT. And I just love Oprah. Watching her show is actually one of my Jenny “rewards.” I would normally turn to food when I felt like I deserved something good, but I learned to do something healthier for myself — to put my feet up, turn on ABC and watch my girl for an hour. A time-out for myself…a much-needed “treat.”
So it was a real milestone for me. A culmination of all these great things happening at once: my weight loss, my new book and sharing it with all of YOU…and with the woman I’ve grown to view as a friend.
