Going for More 06/09/2010
Week 29
Hey everybody!
So this past week was very similar to the previous week in that I was super busy working on the movie. I'm spending my days getting cats thrown at me, having children spit at me, acting scenes while driving around downtown L.A. during rush hour, and doing some night shoots (working from about 4p.m. til 6 a.m.). So how's all that going? It's pretty great. Tiring, but great. Part of the reason it's going so well is that I'm feeling amazing. Now, over the past many months people have been saying to me "You must feel amazing!"… but the truth is that I often didn't feel amazing. I definitely felt better than I had before, but I just hadn't gotten to amazing yet. I knew that I was on the right path, but I also knew that I still had a lot of work to do. As all of you know, losing weight isn't a magic trick. It takes time, effort, and commitment to a plan that works to get where you want to be. For me, Jenny Craig has been that plan and over the past seven months it has helped me to feel better and better about myself. And now… I feel amazing!
Last week, I lost another two pounds* which brings me to a total of 47.8 pounds in 29 weeks*. That leaves me 2.2 pounds* shy of 50 pounds. Wow. Now, my original plan was to lose 30 pounds and see how I felt. Then I decided I wanted to lose another 10, but when I hit 40 I still felt like I had work to do. Now, I'm approaching 50* and when I get there I think I'm going to be done. I still want to keep my curves and now that I've pretty much gotten rid of that extra curve in the middle, I'm hoping to hit my goal and move on to maintenance in the next couple of weeks.
I'm excited for everything that lies ahead.
