Hello to all the Aussies that watch this spot,
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I myself went a little overboard on the food. I didn't really eat in moderation when it came to the chocolates - my killer... I did only have one plate of food though, and only tried two of the desserts, which is better than I would have previosly done, but that may be because I ate a little too many choc-peanuts before the meal! Oops. And Christmas Day is not even the worst! I have found it harder to eat well with those left-overs in the fridge... not to mention the bucket of chocolate bars my grandmother gave my son....gggrrrrr... I could just kill her! Well, I'll just have to be strong...
I'm hitting the gym again today - have been busy moving house and preparing for Christmas for the last week, but I'm getting back in the swing of things today...
The New Year will bring about my re-dedication. I have a holiday to Townsville next week, and as much as I will try to eat well (and I will), I am getting back into JC seriously again when I get back. I still have 9kgs to lose and want them gone by my 21st birthday at least (14/5), if not sooner!
Hope to hear from you both soon.
Have a great New Year celebration!

Hi all
I am at day 2 of JC and think this forum is a great idea for support. I am a mum of 3 girls, - 14, 11, 3 and 1 boy 16mths old. My hubbie and I own two furniture shops so as you can see i am a busy girl. So easy to grab things on the run and eat everyones leftovers or when really busy not eat at all - which i know is just as bad. The JC site is great but I am having trouble with the pounds vs kilos that we use in Aussie. Can anyone help me convert so I can use the weight tracking graph.
Hope you all had a great Christmas and we can all reach our goals this year. 2003 - the year for me.

Hello - Lani and Sue.
Sue - welcome to the JC family. Yes, these forums are great - can keep you on the wagon when you may have otherwise strayed - support is everything. Hope all goes well - keep us posted...
Lani - I'm interested to hear a little more about the Herbalife program - can you fill me in? Hope all is going well for you, hope to see you around here still...

P.S. I have recently been told about a forum in Australia - healthy weight forum - I'm just trying to figure it out now... www.healthyweightforum.com.au

hey nat
its pretty much a shake and vitamin diet
i know people put it down but it is so much more convenient
basically have a shake for 2 meals of the day and 1 meal whatever you want....and 3 snacks per day
try to stay within 1500 calories....
then to maintain just have 1 shake per day..only costs like $40 and lasts a month or so...for the shake stuff when u maintain
i will use it for brekky then coz i dont get time for it anywya
it is really convenient and although you might think differently it shows me how to eat healthily, make sensible choices etc...
it is working really well for me!!!
wanna set a goal???
how about we aim for 5 kilos by end Feb...u think we can do it????
i currently am 79 kilos...
so i will need to get to 74...
good luck xxx

Lani,
Good on your for sticking with the HerbaLife. I personally couldn't do a shake diet as I love the taste and texture of food too much. Sometimes I use the UltraSlim shakes for breakfast though if I have an early start at uni. They are definitely quick and convenient.
I'll make a goal with you, but I know that I cannot lose 5kg in 5 weeks, so I will be aiming for 3kgs. But we can still challenge each other to keep motivated so we can reach our goals! We can do it!
I found a Belly Dancing class that I really want to join today! I will start next week I think - and it's only $5 a class, so even I can afford it! It's gonna be fun - is something I've wanted to do for a long time!
Keep me posted as to how you are going!
