Hi all,
My name is Natalie, I'm 20 and I'm on day 6 of the program. So far, I think I'm doing pretty well, but I have a sweet tooth, so am looking for some 'buddies' to help me stay focussed when I am struggling.
I am from Brisbane, Australia. Is there anyone nearby?
As the program is pretty expensive, I am trying to get by on the cheapest - but still delicious - meals possible. Can anyone tell me which are going to be the cheapest food - specifically - but that still taste good.
I didn't like the instant noodles at all...
Looking forward to meeting fellow new starters!
Natalie xoxo

Hi Natalie........enjoyed chatting with you yesterday in the chat room.......there was really a lot of sharing going on in there last evening(for us) daytime for you! I find that the message boards and the chat rooms help me to get through any time that I don't seem to always be at my strongest.......As far as the lower cost foods......I would think the tomato soup is low......the cereals......peanut butter bar, popcorn and sourdough bites for snacks....All the frozen foods are apt to be more costly.......I would speak to your consultant and have them suggest what dinner entrees you can pick to save money. I like the veggie burger, pan pizza and stuffed shells not sure the cost.
Hope to chat with you soon.......and good luck on your journey.....we are all in this together..........

Hi Natalie
I am thinking of joining and was wondering how much you have spent on the menu in the first week. Congratulations on taking the first step.

Luke's mum,
The first week was $83, but I managed to cut it down a little the secong week, mainly because I'm eating out a couple of times , but I also found that I don't need a JC snack each day or a JC lunch - just a ham and salad sandwich is ok for a couple of days. So with this in mind, I am trying to limit the cost to about $75 a week.
Hope it helps, I'm getting the hang of it a little now.
Let me know how you go, if you start and your progress.
Natalie
