Hi all,
I live in Noosa, Queensland and I've just about reached the half way point of Jenny Craig. I think I'm a bit frightened of having to prepare my own foods, because I have twice now gotten within a 1/2 kg of the half way mark and then I mysteriously :-) put on another couple of kgs, so that I don't have to prepare my own foods. So, I'm spending my life bouncing around within two kgs of my half way mark.
I am proud that I have lost 12 kgs so far, and I have made a commitment to stick with it until I reach my goal weight. I would never give up because I could never go back to the weight I was before. I'm in this for the long haul, no matter how many self-imposed obstacles I have to overcome.
Thought I would introduce myself to you all and tell you about my success and my challenges.
If you have a piece of advice for me that might get me to get over this obstacle, then please feel free to boot me up the backside with all you've got! My husbands wallet needs it!
I look forward to being a part of the gang!

Wow! I didn't expect such positive replies. When facing a struggle of getting past the half-way mark, it is so easy to forget just how far I have already come.
I do feel better about myself than I have in an awful lot of years. I'm not really a failure, but a success story, aren't I? Yes. I think I shall change my outlook.
12 kilos down! Yay! It's time to celebrate my success.
Thanks,
Lynda

Wow - half way - oh to be where you are at - I seriously started JC in late August - was only on it for about 3 weeks and was losing 1.5 kg per week back then. I contracted glandular fever and was advised by the JC team to stop JC altogether - which I did, but still carried on being ever so careful and rigid with what I cooked - I cook healthy food - but haD a tendency to over indulge - silly really! I also drank copious amounts of wine back then - every single night I would sit down before dinner and partake. But, I don't do this anymore - b/c I want to get healthy - I got sick of being tired all the time and not exercising because of no energy.
I began back on JC seriously - and have stuck with the plan only last Monday.
My beginning weight was 98kg in August - I have lost 8 kg so am now 90kg. I have just taken my 17 month old foster daughter for a huge walk - I only picked her up yesterday so thought this was a good opportunity for some resistance training - great child - she fell asleep after 30 minutes. A good 1.5 hour walk - I feel just great! I love exercise - and I certainly love this program. Very very easy.
I'm impressed with your weight loss - and you will continue to get way past the half way mark, I can tell by your attitude. Well done ALL.
Will post again later.
How about trying a faster pace - when you exercise, or try something entirely different- swimming or cycling or something that you wouldn't normally do. It may kick start that metabolism.
Must away - and do as much as I can while this little lady is asleep!
