What's Cooking?
As a leader in the weight loss industry, Jenny Craig strives to keep our Program current with lifestyles, timely with food and activity choices and modern with our marketing campaign partners.
Here are just a few initiatives that both demonstrate the appeal of the Jenny Craig Program and the contemporary clients and companies with which we work:
Queen Latifah
-
Queen Latifah lost her great-grandmother to diabetes. It's a terrible problem facing so many today, especially in the African American community. She's recently learned a lot about this health issue and wants to start a dialogue with her fans to help them have a positive impact on their lives.
We can and it's simpler than you think. By losing just 5-10% of your body weight and increasing weekly activity, you can greatly reduce your risk of developing type II diabetes and other health problems. 1, 2
Queen Latifah joined the Jenny Craig program in January. Her goal is to take the First Step towards a healthier lifestyle – losing 5-10% of her body weight, and getting moderate levels of exercise. She has also enlisted many of her family and friends to take the first step with her. Check on Queen Latifah's progress on her blog!
She encourages her fans to lose weight any way that they choose, but she thinks the Jenny Craig program is a good option because of its healthy balanced approach to weight loss.

Valerie Bertinelli
- After turning forty, Valerie realized she was never going to be a size four, again ... and that's fine with her. Her goal with Jenny Craig isn't about what size she can fit into, it's about how she can improve her Body Mass Index, increase her energy levels and reduce her risk for disease in the future. With her planned weight loss, she hopes to accomplish all three.
- Valerie is really just an everyday mom, with all of the challenges that go with that title. She's conscious of the need to model healthful food and activity choices for her son, while maintaining a busy schedule and often unpredictable lifestyle. Jenny Craig gives her the flexibility and tools she needs to create healthful meals at home, to make better choices when dining out and to make more conscious decisions about when and how she eats.
- Valerie has reached her goal of losing 40 pounds* and is thrilled with her success on the Jenny Craig Program. She is an enthusiastic and passionate Jenny Craig star client, and appears in Jenny Craig television commercials and print advertising. She also shares her results in blogs on our website, www.jennycraig.com, and in weekly e-mails to current clients.
Kimberley Locke
In early 2007, Kimberley selected the Jenny Craig weight loss program to help her reach her "Celebrity Fit Club" goals.
She lost 28 pounds during the VH1 series, and in September 2007, reached her goal of 40 pounds* lost by continuing with Jenny Craig.
Kirstie Alley
-
Kirstie Alley was on the program 2005-2007 (3 years). She was tremendously successful, losing 75 pounds* and kept that weight off for over a year (and counting). She has moved on to other creative opportunities, but says "Hi" to all her friends at Jenny Craig.
